Share your event date, venue, and expected headcount. We'll confirm availability and send a custom quote — usually within a few hours.

Book & Plan Your Setup

Secure your date with a deposit. For larger events we'll coordinate venue access, power source requirements, and layout — so everything is dialed in before the day of.

We Arrive & Set Up

Our technician arrives 60–90 minutes early. The 20-foot screen inflates, the projector and dual speakers are positioned and calibrated — all tested and show-ready before your first guest walks in.

Enjoy the Show

Your technician stays on-site for the full event. After the show, they break everything down and clear out — no cleanup required from your team.

A Few Things You'll Need to Handle

  • Your content — You supply the movie. DVD via our included Denon player, or a downloaded file from a device with HDMI output. Public screenings of commercial films may require a public performance license.
  • Streaming content — Streaming requires a strong, reliable WiFi or hotspot signal at the venue. At larger outdoor venues, cellular or hotspot signals can be inconsistent — we recommend testing ahead of time or using a downloaded file.
  • Power access — We need two standard electrical outlets accessible from the setup area (one for the screen/projector, one for the audio system). For remote venues, a generator can be arranged — just mention it when booking.
  • Venue permits — Public parks, municipal grounds, and school fields may require event permits and/or a public performance license for commercial film screenings. We recommend confirming with your local authority well in advance.

How much space does a 20-foot screen need?

The AirScreen 20 is 23 feet wide overall and nearly 19 feet tall. You'll need at least 40–60 feet of clearance in front for seating, plus space behind and to the sides for anchoring and guy-wire stakes. Athletic fields, park lawns, and festival grounds are ideal. Our team will assess your specific venue layout when you book.

What makes the audio different on this package?

The Blockbuster Event includes two Electro-Voice 1500-watt powered speakers — the same type used in professional live event production. This setup delivers clear, even sound across a 500-person crowd outdoors, with enough headroom to handle dialogue, music, and effects without distortion. Do I need a permit for a 500-person outdoor movie event?

Note that the Blockbuster package draws more power than smaller packages (screen blower plus projector plus dual speakers), so a properly sized generator is important. How far in advance should I book a 500-person event?

We recommend 4–6 weeks for events of this size, especially during peak season (May through September). Larger events benefit from the additional lead time to coordinate venue access, power setup, and permitting. That said, reach out regardless — we'll always do our best to accommodate your timeline.
