Pricing & Packages

Cost & What's Included

Pricing depends on the package, screen size, and your location. Our Backyard Party package is designed for smaller residential events, while our Blockbuster and Ultimate packages include larger screens, premium audio, and full-service crews for bigger gatherings. The best way to get an accurate number is to request a free quote — we'll send you a detailed breakdown with no obligation.
Every Premiere Outdoor Movies event includes the inflatable screen, a professional projector, a sound system, and a full-service setup and teardown crew. We handle everything from arrival to cleanup — you don't touch the equipment. Depending on the package, your event may also include a Blu-ray player, concession equipment like a popcorn machine, a generator, and a dedicated technician on-site for the entire screening.
We offer inflatable movie screens from 12 feet to 52 feet wide. Our most popular sizes for backyard and community events are the 16-foot and 20-foot screens. Larger events, festivals, and drive-in style screenings typically use our 30-foot, 40-foot, or 52-foot screens. We'll recommend the right size based on your venue dimensions and expected audience size.
Absolutely. Our Indoor Movie package uses a traditional flat screen setup rather than an inflatable screen, making it perfect for warehouses, event halls, gyms, conference centers, and large indoor spaces. The setup, audio, and projector are all included. Indoor screenings are popular for corporate events and year-round community programming.
Setup & Logistics

Venue & Setup Questions

Setup typically takes 1.5 to 2 hours depending on screen size and venue. Our crew arrives well before your event start time so everything is tested and ready when your guests arrive. Teardown takes about an hour after the screening ends. We handle all of it — you just enjoy the event.
As a general rule, plan for roughly 10–15 feet of clearance behind the screen for anchoring and inflation, plus enough open space in front for your audience. For a 16-foot screen with 100 guests, a typical suburban backyard or park area works well. For larger screens and events, we'll evaluate your venue during the quoting process. We've done events in backyards, parks, parking lots, fields, rooftops, and ballrooms.
If you have a standard outdoor power outlet available, we can plug directly into it at no extra charge. If your venue doesn't have accessible power — or if you're in a park, field, or remote location — we can provide a generator as an add-on. We'll confirm power requirements when we discuss your event details.
We've produced outdoor cinema events for just about every occasion: HOA and community movie nights, corporate team-building events, school and university fundraisers, church gatherings, birthday parties, graduation celebrations, drive-in events, and large festivals. If you're planning a group viewing experience of any kind, we can make it happen.
Our projectors are bright enough to show a clear image about 15 minutes before sundown. For the best experience, we recommend starting the movie 5 minutes after sundown when the sky is fully dark. In the summer, that typically means an 8:30 PM start. For exact sunset times at your location, visit timeanddate.com.
We don't provide outdoor seating as part of our packages — seating is handled by the event organizer. Most clients bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, which adds to the casual outdoor movie feel. If you need formal seating, a local party rental company can usually accommodate that separately.
Yes, but there are a few requirements to keep in mind. Our screen needs four anchor points for safety. The back of the screen works well positioned in front of a fence. For the front anchors, you'll need to provide something suitable — like maintenance carts or other heavy equipment approved for the field. In most cases, switching to a nearby grass area is the simplest solution and we're happy to help you plan around it.
Yes — all of our technicians come equipped with either a wireless or wired microphone. This lets you address your crowd clearly before the movie, make announcements, or introduce the film. It's a small detail that makes a big difference at community and corporate events.
We're not a DIY rental company — we don't drop off equipment for self-operation. Every package includes a trained, professional technician who stays on-site from setup through teardown to run everything. This ensures a flawless experience every time and takes all the technical responsibility off your plate.
Weather Policy

Rain, Wind & Weather

Light rain typically doesn't affect the screening — our equipment is built for outdoor use. High winds above 25 mph are the main concern, as inflatable screens cannot safely operate in those conditions. If severe weather is forecast, we work with you to reschedule at no penalty. We monitor weather closely in the days leading up to your event and communicate proactively so you're never caught off guard.
Yes. Weather-related reschedules are handled at no penalty when conditions are genuinely unsafe for the event. You may shift your date — at no additional charge — to any Sunday through Thursday that we have available. To reschedule, you must call us at least 3 hours before your scheduled start time and before our crew has begun traveling to your location.
Service Area

Where We Operate

Premiere Outdoor Movies currently serves clients across New Jersey, Pennsylvania (Philadelphia area and Eastern PA), New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. We also have owner-operators expanding into additional markets including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Ohio. If you're outside our listed areas, reach out — we may still be able to accommodate your event.
Travel distance varies by territory and operator. Within our established service areas, we travel as needed to reach your venue at no additional charge for most standard distances. For events at the outer edges of a service area or in locations not yet covered, a travel fee may apply. We'll be upfront about any additional costs when we provide your quote.
Movie Licensing

Licenses & Copyright

Yes — if anyone outside your immediate household is attending, you need a public performance license. This applies to HOA events, corporate screenings, school events, church movie nights, and community gatherings. We guide every client through the process. Visit our Movie Licensing page for a full breakdown of costs, providers, and how to obtain one.
License costs typically range from $300–$500 for events with audiences under 200, up to $1,000 or more for larger events or recent releases. Costs are set by the copyright holder and licensing agency — they're separate from your equipment rental. See our Movie Licensing page for a full cost breakdown.
Almost any title is available with the right license — from classic films to new releases. Our team can help guide you toward the best choices for your event type and audience when we follow up on your inquiry. For age-appropriate recommendations, Common Sense Media is a great resource for finding films suited to your crowd's age group.
Booking

Reserving Your Event

We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially for summer weekends and holidays which fill up quickly. Friday and Saturday dates are always in highest demand. That said, we do our best to accommodate last-minute requests when availability allows — so don't hesitate to reach out even if your event is soon.
A 50% deposit is due at the time your contract is signed to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before your event. We accept cash, money orders, and all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable — however, if you need to reschedule due to weather, we'll work with you on a new date at no additional charge.
Fill out our free quote form with your event date, location, expected number of guests, and any details about your event. We'll review it and get back to you quickly — usually within one business day — with a detailed quote and package recommendation.
We're happy to help. You can fill out a quote request with your question in the notes field, or call us directly at (877) 767-4338. We're a real team, not a call center — someone who knows the business will get back to you.
